Global Peter Obi 2027 Obidient Movement Congress

Global Summit (Congress) of stakeholders, interested individuals and interest groups 10th and 11th of August 2024 (Online).
The global online summit will allow only accredited delegates to participate. We will also make room for accredited independent observers, guests of honors and friends of Obidients.

Our Aim

  1. Strategize and develop a structure for an organized democratic movement working to promote Peter Obi political strategies, messages and actions.
  2. Work out a plan of action that will us realize the values and goals of our movement and document the history and achievements of the Obidient network in Nigeria
  3. Develop rules (a constitution) and methods for counteracting all negative narratives, misinformation, disinformation and hate speeches of the ruling party and their paid agents directed towards Peter Obi and his politics.
  4. Discuss how best the Obidient network can act as a constructive surrogate for Peter Obi’s initiatives and actions.
  5. Work to influence Peter Obi, LP politicians both elected and aspirants to adopt and follow actions that will unite, secure and bring about a true democratic and united Nigeria that works for all.
  6. Build alliances, seek consensus and mitigate hate/violent extremism through information and other educational online and offline programs.
  7. Have a focus on welfare initiatives and empowerment actions.
  8. Run an online/offline Obidient Schools to educate supporters of Peter Obi by encouraging followers to adapt his values, goals and plans of action.
  9. Build alliances and strive to seek consensus with others who may not agree with us on areas that can be of national interest. Those who disagree with us, and Obidients who backslide should not be insulted og crushed but should be won back with love and compassion. Even in the face of Nigeria catastrophic circumstances our movement should be based on love and Brotherhood/Sisterhood.
  10. Concrete activities.
  11. Find ways to produce diverse media contents like Film documentaries, podcasts, Obidient App, Youtube talk shows, X/Twitter spaces, news items, blogs, websites, newspaper articles to promote Peter Obi politics.
  12. Build online resources for engaging and contracting negative and hateful offline/online speeches and activities.
  13. Organize online/offline summits and Training of the Trainers (TOT) to help inform, mobilize and promote PO politics and actions.
  14. Work against all forms of radical violent extremism in Nigeria with the aim of giving hope and courage to help others who are less informed and less privileged. Support de-radicalization initiatives of young people.
  15. Develop sustainable funding mechanisms (EU democratic development fund, USAID, Open Society, Nigerian money bags and Diaspora, etc)
