Peter Obi 2027 Movement
I am addressing this without the personal authorization of Mr. Peter Obi, and while he might not be pleased, it is necessary to counter some of the fabricated lies and falsehoods being spread by certain individuals. Mr. Peter Obi prefers to go about his business quietly. When I bring up some of the circulating falsehoods, he often responds by asking, “Dr. Mo, does it affect the price of gari or will it fix our broken roads? Will it improve the quality of education, the declining state of our healthcare, or change the infant mortality rate and lift people out of poverty?” Reno, whose business is to daily fabricate lies and insults, claimed from abroad that Mr. Peter Obi did not acknowledge the late General’s family. However, I can confirm that Mr. Peter Obi visited the family and offered his condolences to the wife and children even before tweeting about it. Similarly, Bwala falsely stated that when Obasanjo visited Senator Oluremi Tinubu, it meant he had abandoned Mr. Peter Obi. He added that the picture would give Mr. P, alias “Greengory,” sleepless nights. I asked Mr. Peter Obi why we shouldn’t release pictures of his meeting with Obasanjo. He replied that it wasn’t important, emphasizing that Obasanjo is a respected father of the nation, free to visit anyone, including President Tinubu. He noted that Obasanjo is a revered senior citizen and does not abandon anyone. In fact, Obasanjo met with Mr.
@PeterObi on the same day he met with Senator Remi Tinubu. Baba’s support for Mr. Peter Obi is based on what is right, on merit, justice, equity, and fairness. Today, while Mr.
@PeterObi was busy at the Labour Party headquarters addressing various critical issues with the party and stakeholders, Reno falsely claimed he would attend Davido’s wedding uninvited. Mr. Peter Obi is so busy with multiple speaking engagements worldwide that he cannot even attempt to attend 10% of the invitations he receives daily, even those who offer to pay for his trips. At numerous events, he has warned me, “Mo, let me not see these pictures anywhere.” However, I can assure you that if Mr. Peter Obi has a small window and is in Lagos, he will attend regardless because, as he tells me, people will talk no matter what you do. True to form, he has already tweeted wishing Davido and Chioma a happy married life. Regarding party issues, Mr.
@PeterObi has been meeting with various stakeholders, including senators, house representatives, governorship candidates, and different factions. I recall accompanying him to meet with Governor Alex Otti, where they discussed party issues for hours. When I asked if I could publicize it, the answer was, of course, no. When I inquired why, he said, “Does it stop the hunger and pain, get farmers back to their farms or provide boreholes? Let’s stay focused on the issues.” I also asked him about local government elections during his eight years as governor because some people raise this issue. He said he conducted them and told me to verify. I confirmed this and asked why he doesn’t publicize it. He simply said, “Mo, I have been out of office for about 10 years now and don’t think it’s important.” That is why I am compelled to speak out and will continue to do so, refusing to be silenced. I will not stand by and watch as false narratives and lies spread unchecked. I will keep sharing the truth, even if it means going against the wishes of those who prefer to keep things quiet. The importance of setting the record straight and upholding integrity outweighs any potential discomfort or criticism. -DrMo
